POTD

2014 started with a parkrun at Brabyns Park in Marple. It was muddy and it was rainy. On the way back to the car at the end of ther run I spotted this sign and the muddy path.

Sometimes when you look at a scene you know it is a photograph that you want to convert to black and white from the outset. This is one such image. In Lightroom I added contrast and clarity to make the image pop in black and white. The is also a subtle vignette to help draw the eye into the image.
