POTD 22 March 2005: Three Sisters Recreation Area,

Three Sisters Recreation Area, East side of Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan. Previously the Garswood Hall Colliery.

I recieved a request via Photographers Direct for images of Three Sisters Recreation area. So I used it as an excuse to go over to Wigan to photograph the park.

2015 Update - I have now reprocessed this images using Color Efex Pro to bring out the detail, add a bit of warmth and finish it with a vignette.
