POTD 20 January 2014: Blue Monday

Today is apparently "Blue Monday" - it is the day we are alegedly feeling at our lowest. Caused by the lack of daylight, post-Christmas blue, and post-Christmas bills. And it's a Monday.

Try to find the opportunity to take some time out, breath deeply and slowly. Sit or walk in the garden for a while. Or take a photograph or two.

This is a simple 'selfie'.... sorry.. that's so 2013. This is a simple self-portrait, processed heavily in Lightroom to give a very gritty feal to it. With the blue Monday theme I adjusted the colour balance to make the image a little more bluer.
