POTD 22 January 2008: Pigs May Fly

I really didn’t know what to photograph for today’s photo. I’ve spent almost all the day in front of my PC screen and that’s very boring. I asked Ann for a suggestion and she immediately suggested I photograph her pig mobile.

This turned out to be an interesting challenge. Firstly I needed somewhere to hang it (Used my broken travel tripod resting on a dining chair), with a non distacting background (dining room wall, to the right of the radiator) and then I had to work out how best to light it (room light with a hand held torch/flashlight to give a little sparkle to the image). Exposure 2.5 sec
