POTD 23 November 2013: Dalek

Happy Birthday Doctor Who. On 23rd November 1963 the very first episode of Doctor Who was broadcast. I celebrated those 50 years by going to Fab Cafe in Manchester to watch a live recreation of the very first episode "An Unearthly Child" and a two part story "The Edge of Destruction".

Oh yes, there was a Dalek there too! (Photo taken on the iPad).

After this it was off to the Printworks in Manchester to see "The Day of the Doctor" in 3D. A great way to spend a very special 50th Anniversary Day.
