POTD 12 January 2014: The view from Roque de Los Muchachos

For this POTD I have chosen an image which doesn't reflect the day as a whole! Roque de Los Muchachos is the higest point of La Plama. Because of this we saw snowy mountains and people building snowmen. It is also the place where 14 different astronomical telescopes are located. One of which we got to go in side.

Also this day we did time. Well visited "El Time" and went to the Caldera de Taburiente national park for more amazing views and to get up close to two Ravens.

It was too difficult to pick a POTD from all of that so you get a simple black and white view. To see all the rest of the things I have talked about you will have to look here: http://photos.imb.biz/travel/lapalma/day9
